Giorgio Locatelli is Professor at Politecnico di Milano - School of Management, where he created and leads the major “Complex Projects Business” and Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Project Management Journal. Since 2006, Giorgio has researched large and complex infrastructure projects and programs. Giorgio is now also focusing on projects for sustainability transition and NetZero, along with the “dark side” of projects, including corruption, modern slavery, discrimination, and unsustainability. Giorgio attracted over €1.7 million in research funds and, since 2020 is included every year in the Stanford-Elsevier list of the World’s top 2% of scientists. He acts as a trainer and advisor for public and private organisations. Giorgio has authored over 160 international peer-reviewed Scopus index publications with over 4500 citations. He won the 2023 “IPMA Global Research Award” and sits on the editorial boards of IPMJ, CME and PNE.
